Nanomaterial research: Turkish-Italian workshop
The ‘Turkish Italian Workshop on the frontiers in nanomaterial research and applications’ will be held in Istanbul (Turkey) from the 8th to the 10th of December 2010. It is organized by Institute for complex systems (Isc-Cnr), University of Trento and several Turkish universities.
The symposium aims at stimulating discussion between Turkish and Italian scientists working in the field of nanomaterials, enabling collaborations and partnerships. The workshop program will be focused on a few aspects at the frontiers of nanoscience which include the latest advances in nanomaterials and bionanomaterials and emerging prospects in nanophotonics. The topics will be in the areas of nanomaterials – processing and devices, nanomaterials for photonics, Bio nanomaterials.
The workshop is supported by the Italian ministry of foreign affairs under the Executive programmes for scientific and technological cooperation between Italy and Turkey.
